Have you ever been told by your significant other that "I don't know" isn't an acceptable response? Because "how do you not know?"
As a female, it's one of the most agitating statements to hear.
I don't know how I don't know, but I just don't, okay? It's literally that simple.
Maybe it's my period, maybe it isn't.
Maybe it's a full moon, maybe it's not.
Maybe it's just my (not so) lovely hormones, or maybe not.
I don't know.
Maybe I don't know about what or where I want to eat.
Maybe it's how I'm feeling I don't know about.
Or maybe it's I don't know why I said something that I did.
I literally don't know.
There's a lot of things us females don't understand about ourselves, and not to be rude, but if we can't figure our own self out, how the hell do you
(as a male) expect to figure us out?
In case you haven't already noticed, we're two (not so, but really so) completely different species.
And trust us when we say I don't know, because one of two things is happening:
1. Either we legitimately don't have a damn clue
2. We just don't want to tell you what we really (but don't really) know
Either way, I don't know is a perfectly acceptable response that should be accepted as so without further questioning.
