To The Bride To Be: Relax, Everything Will Be Perfect

My best friend is getting married in less than two months, and she is stressed beyond belief.

From the shoes, to the flower girl’s attire, to the bachelorette party, there isn’t anything that hasn’t sparked some kind of worry in this girl’s mind.

So, to her, and to all of you other bride-to-be’s, relax. All will be perfect.

None of the people that love you will allow anything major to go wrong.

That may not register in your mind because you’re so determined to make sure that everything is planned to perfection, but I promise you, we won’t let anything catastrophic happen.

We all know that this is the most important thing in the world to you, and we will make sure that everything is as exactly as you want it. I assure you, there is no reason to worry. We’ve all got your back.

You won’t notice small imperfections.

When the day comes, all that’s going to matter is the love of your life waiting for you at the end of that aisle. Everyone and everything else in the entire world will disappear in that moment.

You won’t notice if one of the bridesmaids has a slightly different shade of red on her shoe than the other girls. You won’t be thinking about that one jerk that was supposed to be at your bachelorette party, but cancelled and made everyone else pay a little bit more for the trip.

All that will matter is that very moment. You, and him. Not a single thing else.

This is supposed to be fun.

Everyone knows that planning a wedding comes with stress, yes. But it shouldn’t be just stress. It’s supposed to be fun and enjoyable for you. Don’t let the little things take that away from you.

You’re putting together a day of celebration, a day of love and fun. Not a funeral. Don’t let the stress consume your entire experience. Have fun with it, and let the little things go.

Everything will turn out wonderful.

When your day gets here, and you’re dancing in his arms as his wife for the first time, you won’t even be able to figure out why you were ever stressed about shoes, or dresses, or parties.

You’ll look around you at how beautiful everything turned out, and you’ll realize that none of that was ever very important in the first place. You’ll be surrounded by people you love, and who love you more than anything.

You’ll be forever bonded with the love of your life, and all will be right in the world. I promise you, it will be amazing.

So, just relax. Everything will be perfect.
