An Open Letter to the Girl Who Deserves the Right Love

“He is one of the right decisions I have made in my life. I’m glad I took the risk, and never for once regretted that I chose him.”

Each one of us has our own different stories. You may be single now, waiting for the right time and perfect love; you may be committed, but is confused, unhappy, or on the verge of choosing whether to stay or just let go.

You will then later ask yourself, “When I’m gonna meet him?” or “Is he really the one?”.

Love is patient. Yes, it surely is. But the question is until when? Until when are you going to wait, or until when are you going to stay when it doesn’t feel right?

These questions can only be answered by your own self. Time will come and your waiting game will be over. The love you’ve been dreaming of will come out of nowhere and you will suddenly then see yourself smiling again.

You will love everything about him. His smile, his laugh, his eyes and the way he looks at you, the way he runs his fingers through his hair, and even the way he walks.

But not only these, you will admire his character and the way he respects you. He will surely show his love on the purest way. The little things, holding and kissing your hand while he’s driving will keep you blushing all the way. He is allergic to your tears, and when you cry he will hold you tight and stay until you calmed down. He is afraid you will get hungry, he will immediately buy you food or go to your favorite drive-thru. He will take you to the beach and make barbecues with him or just to watch the sunset with you. He will not get tired reminding you how much he loves you, be it through actions or through words.

However, there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. You will fight, you will lose your temper, you’re gonna say bad things towards him. But in spite all these, he will always choose to understand. There will be mornings where you will be awakened by his voice, whispering sorry to your ears while hugging you at the back. He might get angry for a little while but later make it all up to you. He understands so much that he is giving all his love and patience just to cope up with your mood swings and stubbornness.

You deserve to be treated right. You deserve to be happy. You will surely gonna find the right love. Do not be afraid to let go of the things that hurts you. These pain will be a lesson for you to choose the right person that you deserve. And when you found him, you will look back at your past and be thankful. Thankful for all the life’s lesson that it taught you, and for learning how to let go.

You deserve all the happiness in the world. You deserve a love that’s true. You deserve a love that stays.
