I have really good days... I have really bad days.
There are days when I am on top of the world and nothing can stop me.
There are days when I don't open my blinds and eat a whole box (or two) of macaroni and cheese.
I've been learning that as I start to build myself up, there have been more opportunities that I question myself, and really wonder what I am doing with my life.
Is this what I want? Is this for me? What do I even like?
And it is in those few, isolating moments that I remember a few things.
And this is what I want to tell you, in the moments you question yourself:
Never. Stop. You need to know that you always need to continue, and push on. Never forget that even in the hardest of moments, you need to continue to push forward.
Astonish. You are a freaking powerful person, and you need to never forget who you are.
Wake up every day, and continue to astonish not only yourself but every single person around you.
We live in a mean world. In the moments you begin to question the meanness, remember your kindness.
Flood the world with the kindness inside of you, and I promise that karma will take care of the rest.
Do things for your soul. Not for school, work, your family, your friends.
Sometimes the best thing you can do all day is something for your soul. If that means your soul needs to consume a full pint of ice cream, make sure you grab a big enough spoon.
If that means bugging the most important person in your life for a night of cuddles, go grab your blankets.
If that means lying alone, do it. If that means running a thousand miles, make sure you tied your shoes.
The most important thing I can tell you, in the moments that you question yourself, is to do something for your soul.
When you question yourself, love yourself. When you doubt what you're doing, remember your bravery. When the world tears you apart, remember how beautiful you are.
Never forget your voice, your mind, and your soul. When you question yourself, remember the fire you can breathe.
