I know you have a hard time sharing your feelings, but I want you to know that you can with me. You never have to worry that I’m going to judge or think less of you.
I want to be here for you if you’ll give me the chance. I want more than anything to be the first person you turn to with not only good news, but also the bad.
I want to be your rock; the one who will always be there if you need to ask for advice, vent, scream, laugh or even cry.
No matter what, you can always come to me with anything. When you start to question that, please try and remember these things:
You never need to worry about bringing me down.
Everyone gets down sometimes. There will be plenty of times I’ll need to rely on you, so of course I want to do the same for you.
Just remember that I’m here for the good and the bad. I promise you, I can handle it.
You never need to feel inferior.
Every single person out there has something they’re dealing with. You should never feel bad about yourself. You are an incredible and thoughtful person, and I hope to make you believe that.
More importantly, I never want you to feel as if you aren’t good enough for me. You are so much more than enough, and nothing you say will ever change that.
You never need to feel guilty.
Your happiness means the world to me, and I’ll do anything I can to make it happen. If I didn’t care about you or felt you were a burden, I wouldn’t be in this with you.
But I am with you one hundred percent, and I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
You never have to go through anything alone.
Your problems are my problems. That’s what a relationship is all about. I’m always going to be here for you to confide in, and I’ll always have your back.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
You never have to feel weak or embarrassed.
A lot of men think that women want this closed off, emotionless man who never shows any vulnerability. Truth is… they couldn’t be more wrong.
Being a man doesn’t mean you have to be afraid to show your emotions. If anything, it takes more strength to share them than it does to keep them locked inside.
I love you, and I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. I promise you - you’d never doubt yourself again.
