Have you ever had that one person who genuinely made you feel crazy because they were so hot and cold, like a faucet? They can be so infuriating because you just don't know which way is the right way with them.
These guys are so up and down like a roller coaster that you get end up with serious emotional whiplash.
But there are two types of faucets you need to be aware of: the intentional faucet, and the unintentional faucet. What's the difference you ask?
Well, the intentional faucets are the fuckboys. They play you like a piano, every move is calculated and purposeful. Intentional faucets will purposely be hot and cold to keep you on your toes, but also keep you at arm's length.
With intentional faucets, they claim they could really fall in love with you and tell you how amazing you are and what they will miss out on, but then tell you all the reasons as to why they can't be with you in the first place.
But yet, they'll still come back to you just to then push you away, once again.
With the intentionally hot and cold guy, you're just a puppet on a string and he's controlling your every move.
The unintentional faucet can be just as infuriating as the intentional ones. The difference is that these people are doing it for the "right reasons"...or so they think.
So let's say that there's a guy you're super into and you're pretty sure he's feeling you too, but they are so hot one day and freezing cold the next, you think he's playing you, right? But in reality, he isn't.
These people are the ones who are trying their best to keep their distance because they don't want to hurt you, but are continuously pulled towards you. They have a bunch of legit reasons as to why they shouldn't be with you.
The guy who's unintentionally hot and cold is trying to spare any pain that he might cause you in the future.
The thing to remember about people like this is to be patient. They're the one's who have been hurt and need to be shown that someone cares about them.
It's really hard to decipher who is genuine and who is false. It takes a long time to really get your fuckboy-o-meter up and running, but you'll figure it out one day.
The ones you have to look out for are the ones who have made a move, made all these promises and then start telling you why they can't keep them, or why they can't be with you.
Intentional faucets play a good game and talk a good talk, but eventually, they always slip up and forget the lies they've told you and you catch on. The best thing to do at that point is walk away.
All you can do is try your best to understand why someone is acting the way that they are and learn that it's best to walk away if you have any feeling that they aren't being genuine.
Always be careful of who you open your heart up to.
