It's hard for her to balance when the waves of life come crashing onto her feet, making her ankles buckle.
Suddenly standing becomes a task that isn't so effortless.
But what's worse than all of life's waves crashing down on her is when she allows her own waves to knock down the one good thing in her life that keeps her afloat.
The one who's her life saver, lifeguard, life jacket, and rescue buoy. The one who withstands every wave she's too afraid to swim through.
And for those waves that aren't hers to swim through, he holds her up and keeps her steady.
He makes it look so effortless and easy withstanding all of the force of the ocean, but every wave comes crashing down eventually.
But every ocean has shallow ends, just like every human has shallow tendencies. And unfortunately, these shallow tendencies engulf even the strongest of people.
But these two – their oceans have collided and their waves intensified.
He's the heartbeat of her ocean and she needs to swim through these waves with him. Or else she'll drown in the depths of her own personal waves.
Because the truth of the matter is, the waves of her ocean would be nowhere close to shore without him.
So for those days where she buckles at the knees and sends each crashing wave to him, she hopes he always know that, without him, she'd be lost at sea.
