Life is getting interesting huh?
High School makes everything feel like the end of the world and lets seriously not get started about the drama on twitter.
Right now it seems like everyone hates you, or nobody is going to forget about that super embarrassing thing that happened but guess what?
Kimberly from science class is going to create more drama next Tuesday that will spread like wildfire.
People are going to come and go from your life, people you never thought would leave are going to.
You're going to understand what losing a best friend feels like, and it is going to suck.
Life loves to even itself out, so I promise you that more people are going to come in your life, and make it brighter than you ever dreamed. You're allowed to feel all the things you do, even if others say you don't.
All your feelings are validated.
And that guy that you've been dating for a really long time, he's going to go too. But it's okay, you're going to grow and learn from all of this.
You're going to accept people in your life, and one day realize you're in love with them without ever meaning to be.
Slow down. Slow wayyyyyyyy down. Enjoy the sleepovers, enjoy the no homework nights, and take a few more naps.
You're going to wake up in your dorm room one day, wearing the same clothes you did the night before with crumbs in your bed from eating something you don't remember.
Talk more. Talk with your parents, your teachers, your friends. Stop texting, stop tweeting, and smile at the people around you.
A lot of people are going to walk out of your life (thank god), and others are going to move across the country.
You're going to miss people, so take this time and talk to the people around you.
Give in. Give in to the world around you, and live a little. Go on road trips, save your money, and live a little.
Don't let the unnecessary become important. Keep people close, and your memories closer.
High School isn't the end of the world, and life is just about to start. So slow down, live a little, and brace yourself. You're in for a ride.
