When we fall in love, the last thing we’re focused on is ending up with a broken heart. We live in the moment savoring every second of every single exciting emotion that falling in love injects into our hearts. But when we’re still in love and the relationships ends, it hits us hard and the breakup brings us the most unimaginable heartache.
There’s no way to hide and for as much as we try to be strong, the pain doesn’t go away. The good news is that the pain is temporary, so even if you feel like it’s the end of the world, if you can only hold on for a bit longer, you’ll come out the other side stronger and ready to love again.
Don’t give up on yourself, don’t give up on love. Be gentle with your heart through your healing process and please believe that you’re not broken, you are just wounded and this too shall pass.
